Founder & Principal Consultant - AU Healthcare Consultancy

Rakesh Vyasabhattu is the Founder and Principal Consultant of AU Healthcare Consultancy, a specialist healthcare consulting firm dedicated to supporting medical practices across Australia. With extensive experience in healthcare operations, business strategy, and regulatory compliance, Rakesh has helped medical centres establish, optimise, and grow sustainable healthcare businesses while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Since entering the healthcare industry in 2008, Rakesh has worked alongside general practitioners, practice owners, and healthcare organisations to improve operational efficiency, strengthen governance, and implement practical systems that enhance both clinical and business outcomes.

Rakesh is an Australian Computer Society (ACS) Certified Business Analyst and holds a Master's degree in Information Technology and Business Management. His unique combination of business, technology, and healthcare expertise enables him to deliver practical, evidence-based solutions tailored to the needs of Australian medical practices.

He currently oversees the operations director of Botany Road Doctors and Matraville Doctors, where he leads business strategy, operational management, quality improvement initiatives, workforce development, and digital transformation. His hands-on involvement in running successful general practices provides valuable real-world insight that directly benefits the healthcare providers he advises.

Beyond practice management, Rakesh is an Accreditation Surveyor, conducting independent assessments of medical practices against nationally recognised quality and safety standards. Rakesh also serves as a member of the Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network (CESPHN) Digital Health Advisory Group, where he contributes to initiatives that promote innovation, digital transformation, and the adoption of emerging technologies within primary healthcare.

In 2016, he founded AU Healthcare Consultancy with a clear vision—to simplify the business of healthcare so clinicians can focus on delivering outstanding patient care.
